Rumor has it that I’m stubborn.
My parents will verify it.
My friends will testify to it.
Because he loves me, me husband denies knowing anything about it.
He’s smart, that one.
I used to be stubborn in work, and definitely in play.
Then I had two strokes. And I was in a coma. And there was a lot of rehab.
And I wasn’t stubborn anymore.
I learned to talk again.
I learned to eat again.
Every day I’m learning to walk, move, stretch, and try again.
Know what?
I’m starting to be stubborn again.
Erma Bombeck said something that pretty much defines my approach to life.... "When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and I could say, "I used everything you gave me." If you switch the word TALENT for LOVE or LAUGHTER or HAPPINESS....it still stands.

Hells bells…what do you mean you weren’t stubborn! What do you think woke you up from your coma? What do you think made you fight so hard to come back? I think very few people would be where you are today.
You are do dang stubborn that you refused to just lie there and do nothing!
It doesn’t have to be a negative thing if used in the right way.
