dreaming again

(dream sequence)

There was a hallway in a hospital.  I was being pushed down that hallway for a very long time. For a while they stuck me under a painting of trees on a hill.  I was in that spot for a long time, unable to move, unable to speak.  I tried to yell at the people who passed us.

I couldn’t make a sound.

We went into the elevator where my nurse had a conversation with someone in red scrubs.  A conversation while I was trying to get off the stretcher.

The nurse pushed me off the elevator and down another hallway .

The hallway ended in a sandy beach.  The carpet transformed as the sky appeared out of the ceiling.

Where I walked towards the train that was waiting there. I went aboard and met a guy who was a long-time employee.  He was dressing in a nice suit. Black tie. Black striped vest. Neatly trimmed beard.

I went behind this man who was accompanying a body home.  He was going to take this poor dead body to it’s final resting place in another state. The dead body was a constant rider of the train. He rode it so much there was a flashback of the many years of trips he’d taken.

The railroad employee was busy with the final plans.  Then we finally got to got the Dead Body’s home place.

My dreams are usually always vivid. I had one dream that was so completely real that I’ve never forgotten it–even though it was nearly 25 years ago. Unfortunately, about a month later it came true.
Here’s hoping your dream, Anissa, has a happy ending. Now go get tomorrow…

Dreams can be so vivid. Sounds like this one could have been more of a nightmare. Hope not.
