I’m sitting here in the quiet for the first time in days.
Our trip to Florida was eye-opening.
We found out that it was possible to miss people when they were five inches away.
We also found that when you told your kids to go, they WENT!
But they didn’t take toothbrushes.
We did miss out on some very loved friends because of the holiday.
However, the ones we saw?
Meeting M who looked JUST like her brothers, her oldest would have been very proud to meet her.
Words.
There aren’t any.
Each hug.
Each kiss.
Each treasured moment.
We took them with us as we drove away.
Until we can share them again.
Much thanks to M who opened her home and let us stay for the week; W who let us have a party at her house and invite bajillionty people; and to everyone in Florida who made time and came to to see us. We love you.

Wish we could have made it out. So sorry we missed you.
“Bajillonty?”
I really want to know what that means.
