A woman had a stroke
Her husband handled the kids the best he could.
The time went by as the woman was in a coma.
People prayed. Hoped. Gave strength. Gave of themselves. Gave what they could.
While they wait.
It all feels and sounds so familiar.
It is Joanne and Tobien Heim’s story.
So familiar.
It hurts to think what her family is going through.
To know that fear and uncertainty.
Joanne is still in a coma at this time.
Fight. I want to tell her. You do feel the fatigue more some days and I hope Joanne is having those moments close to those around her.
I’m praying for Joanne. For Tobin. For the kids. For the ones who love them and feel this in their bones.
I’m praying.

Thank you for sharing the link….I think you and your family are incredible. As well as your faith. Thank you for giving me hope in humanity.
Thank you for letting us know. I am praying for them.

You are not the only one. Our stories/life may be different but I am encouraged by what you have accomplished. We do what we can and we work on things. It’s life, our life and we make it. It does hurt to read, hear about others. Things are still fresh. The fear and uncertainty even when new obstacles/challenges appear. We can do it! I pray for Joanne and her family. Through her I have increased faith and got to meet you through reading. Sending hugs!!

I’m glad you know – when I first heard about her stroke my first thought was “Anissa – I wonder if they know you’re story, it would encourage them.” I’m glad you’re praying too!
Hi. I came over here to tell you I though you did a kick-ass job on the panel yesterday, then I got sucked into Joanne’s story. Adding my prayers to yours.
