get a $50 gift card and use @UPS My Choice for the stuff you can’t deliver yourself

I  like to give you stuff.

Like, LOVE to give you stuff

YOU? Like to get stuff!

UPS is actually in the business of making the deliveries of stuff you like to get.

This year UPS has gone even further to make getting your stuff more convenient.

Now, because I’ll probably explain it wrong and promise you a pony or something, I’ll use UPS’s words to get this right.

That’s why UPS is transforming the package delivery experience with a first-of-its kind, customizable delivery service for residential receivers called UPS My Choice.

UPS My Choice helps avoid the disappointment and hassle of missing a home delivery by empowering consumers to take control of their UPS deliveries. This ground-breaking service increases the likelihood of a successful delivery on the first attempt by providing delivery alerts, specific delivery time frames, reroute options, a visibility dashboard and electronic signature release – all by accessing through a computer or mobile phone.

UPS My Choice provides a new level of convenience for people who lead a busy lifestyle, receive signature-required packages or shipments of high-value or temperature-sensitive nature.  It frees consumers from worrying about when packages will arrive, where they will be left or what to do if they are not home to receive them.

To register for UPS My Choice (basic is free) or for more information, visit HERE!

EXTRA ENTRIES: Put this phrase out on Facebook or Twitter and leave the link in the comments. “Use @UPS My Choice to make deliveries more convenient. I would like to win the $50 AMEX GC @AnissaMayhew is giving away″

I received compensation from UPS in the form of a gift card that I am using as a prize in this promotion.

Yes! Knowing when UPS is going to deliver would have made a WORLD of difference! The news here has been doing stories (daily) about thieves opening people’s UPS packages and taking the goodies from inside. I have been VERY leery!!

Thanks so much for the chance!! VERY generous of you!

no.. but i still like it to save packages from the rain!!

  7. Lisa A. December 13, 2011 at 8:50 PM #

Yes, UPS My Choice makes online shopping (Cyber Monday and every other day!) an easy choice. Since I will be alerted of deliveries, I can avoid the crowds and wait at home for the Big Brown Truck!

Grrr….it just gave me an error while loading what had been a pretty long comment. So this time I’ll just say…

  9. Rosa December 12, 2011 at 12:21 PM #

I did most of my Christmas shopping on line. I do not like to shop and stand on lines for long time, and specially when people get out of control trying to catch a discount.

  10. Leah B December 12, 2011 at 10:12 AM #

I am not sure it would have made a difference this year, but when i lived in “the city” it would have been great. I would have been able to schedule my deliveries and not worry about them disappearing or having to drive around to find them!

  11. Krista December 12, 2011 at 12:20 AM #

I don’t think it would have mattered because I’m lazy… ;) But it would have been nice 2 years ago when our UPS driver refused to leave anything even when I asked him to if I wasn’t home. Requiring me to drive across town only between the hours of 4 and 7pm. Our current drivers are awesome though!

I avoid Black Friday anyway, but this service would be great so that I could find out when my packages are arriving.

  15. Denise Tomlin December 11, 2011 at 11:12 AM #

This makes a difference to me becasue I am frequently not home. If I can assure delivery for when I was home it would make my life easier.

  16. mary beth i December 10, 2011 at 11:17 PM #

I would hide under the bed but can no longer fit. As such, I braved Black Friday this year!

This service sounds great – cannot wait to check it out.

Nope, the bottom side of the bed still wins. I just might not feel as guilty the week after however.

Yes it would make a difference, especially for bulk shipments/deliveries.

  19. Jamie December 10, 2011 at 9:03 AM #

Definitely! I opted to stay in my pajamas nearly all day Black Friday and shop from my laptop. Clickity click!

I signed up and I’m def going to use UPS My Choice. I work 7-6 daily so I’m never around to receive packages and I forget to leave a note saying to leave it there. This is a great easy and convenient solution.

I like hiding under my bed personally :)

  22. Kristin December 9, 2011 at 12:37 PM #

I would use this service for sure. I do not like getting out fighting the crowds. Would much rather sit at home stress free and having my packages sent to me :)
dont like fighting the crowds nor waiting in line forever and fighting for parking.

i dont think so, b/c i havent even really started shopping yet – the malls are scary and the internet is so vast – plus my fam is soooo difficult to shop for!

  34. Elena December 8, 2011 at 7:49 PM #

I think their service would help me not to loose my packages and get them on time.

  35. Julie L December 8, 2011 at 7:26 PM #

I also would be hiding under my bed :) thanks

  36. Jessie D December 8, 2011 at 7:10 PM #

This wouldn’t really have made a difference for me on Cyber Monday because I didn’t really have the money to spend then, but it will make the difference in the future! We live in an apartment complex and while the office used to accept packages, they don’t anymore which has been really frustrating. Getting packages delivered to the UPS store just up the street will be fantastic! Just wish the premium service didn’t cost so much…

  38. meghann @ midgetinvasion December 8, 2011 at 4:54 PM #

It would not have made a difference for me on Black Friday/Cyber Monday, because we had absolutely no money then. It could be useful over the Christmas holidays, though!

I do a lot of online shopping, I’m sure my choice would help so I won’t miss packages.

  41. Julie December 8, 2011 at 3:41 PM #

OMG! I wish I had known about this sooner! My husband lives on the opposite coast and we are constantly battling with UPS to deliver things to his apartment (not a sketchy neighborhood so we don’t know what the deal is). We’ve had many packages returned because he wasn’t able to be there to receive them or get to the UPS hub to pick them up (no car). It wouldn’t have affected my shopping habits but it would have improved his quality of life!

  42. Dorothy December 8, 2011 at 3:08 PM #

I signed up for this before Black Friday and Cyber Monday and I don’t think it influenced my shopping habits. I like it best for packages I don’t expect. It’s been useful for letting me know to expect packages from family.

Sounds great for some people. I’m pretty thrifty so I haven’t done too much shopping online for expensive items (or inexpensive items).

  44. Jackie Boylan December 8, 2011 at 2:22 PM #

I avoid black friday like the plague and do most of my shopping on any other day of the year. I’d do more shopping on line with this new service thus avoiding shopping headaches..

I have a My Choice account and I love the notifications and such! It makes me feel in the loop! This was a big decision for me when making a ton of Cyber Monday purchases!

  47. Kelly Collins December 8, 2011 at 1:58 PM #

I would have done more online shopping, I stay away from the stores on black Friday.

  48. Jill S December 8, 2011 at 1:41 PM #

I probably would have purchased more online on Black Friday/Cyber Monday. The things I did purchase that required signatures I had to have delivered to friends houses.

  49. Michelle December 8, 2011 at 10:54 AM #

I don’t participate in Black Friday–shopping these days is dangerous :/
I still hide things under the bed, in the closet, in the trunk of my car–I probably would have done more online shopping if this were an option :)

  50. MFA Mama December 8, 2011 at 9:18 AM #

I was one of the bed hider-underers this year due to finances, but the service sounds like a good one! I already boycott the Black Friday crowds and do almost all of my shopping online, so I’ll have to give it a try sometime.

This sounds great. I tend to order stuff and cross my fingers (I have 5 roommates, so that helps!), but it would be great to have to extra peace of mind on days like Cyber Monday (I will never do Black Friday – I don’t have that kind of time or desire to stand in lines/get pepper sprayed!).
