If NYC suddenly sucks and no one shows up for BlogHer, I’ll probably post a lot.
Chances are REALLY slim, but there is a chance.
On Wednesday I’ll be packing up, hugging my children, kissing my visiting niece and boarding a plane with Julia.
Then? PEOPLE.
When we get to NYC I’ll meet the book agent and hope it goes well.
Then I’ll be seeing more people.
I was set to be all serene and stuff.
I had picked my time slot, a friend was going there with me, I was ready.
I was the picture of serenity. Then Maggie & Heather opted to close the Serenity Suite so we could attend the Listen to your Mother Show by Ann’s Rants (a dear friend and co-board member of Violence Unsilenced).
My serenity was traded for sheer excitement.
So, you can guess where I’ll be on Friday night.

Well, Come As You Are at 6pm and join Aiming Low as we host our second party featuring the ever spectacular ladies of the Mouthy Housewives. Already had plans to be there? You’re OBVIOUSLY brilliant!
After the bread has been broken and the drinks drunk, the old friends wished a fond farewell and the new friends smuggled into carry-on luggage, Julia and I will return home to wait another year.
I feel like everybody in the world is prgneant except me and it makes me bitter. I know that we’ll have another, but the time (that we start planning) is not coming fast enough for me. We’d like to have a few things established first so things won’t be chaotic and stressful. Maybe if hubby sees how upset you are, he’ll consider reversing his procedure?*HUGS*
