I think to myself “I’ll link to a few crucial friends”, then 400 links later I have carpel tunnel in the only hand I have left to type with. Then I’m typing with my nose, which doesn’t work because I’m Asian and my chin keeps typing an extra letter.
All because I hate to leave anyone out.
So I leave everyone out.
I went to the TypeAParent conference in Charlotte, NC.
It came straight from a flight from NYC and the #140onf where I did this. (go to 1h, 47m)
After the rush and pace of NYC NC was a welcome change.
You may be wondering how THIS blogging conference is different from THAT conference.
Like the kids from the same family, they may look similar, have similar features, even be twins is some ways, but EVERY CHILD HAS HIS/HER OWN UNIQUE PERSONALITY.
In this same way, each conference has it’s unique flavor.
I relished the flavor of TypeA.
I soaked up the time with friends.
I laughed til parts hurt, I talked til the clock said it was too late, I enjoyed people I don’t get to enjoy often enough.
I spoke about writing humor.
I feel that writing humor is sort of like artwork.
Some humorist are naturally funny and can be appreciated be everyone…like Monet.
Some humorists take more time to hone their craft…there’s nothing wrong with stick figures.
There was my takeaway from TypeACon.
That, and how a woman pee’s standing up without getting it on her feet. #CircleOfTrust
