do the time warp again

February went by with no posts. They were in my head but because of my eyes and overall laziness with typing they stayed dormant.

I didn’t write about my fortieth birthday, Pete’s fortieth-second went by too. Nathaniel turned 16 (all teenage girls that visit are automatically shot in the ass with a dart of Depo-Provera)(There’s a whole post there for later)

I’ve struggled with a bad case bronchitis and bronchial spasms..

Since Christmas!

True story.

I’m finally starting to feel like I’m kicking it. Four months later. It took a toll on me though. I could feel it kicking my ass.

And I haven’t recovered from the ass-kicking yrt.

I retied Aiming Low during my illness. I knew that if I was going to spend most of my time sick I’d better do it with my family. I needed to know I made the right choice of what was important  in my life.

It hurt to let go of the site.

It was a big part of my reason to fight so hard to come back.

But now, I feel like I’m going to miss the reasons that around me every day.

I’ve been in kind of bunker mentality this February too. Family stuff happens. And it is draining. Feel better soon. I didn’t write about turning 50 last July. I just couldn’t — so I didn’t.

When life gets to be too much whether because of illness, stress, work or whatever else, we need to make those hard decisions and set priorities. Sometimes that means letting go of something we’d rather keep. I bet, when you look back, you’ll know that you did the right thing.

I’m glad that you are on the mend. Take care :)
