Why Advertise on #FreeAnissa?
Thank you for your interest in advertising on my site.
While #FreeAnissa has been launched for about a year, I wrote for three years at Hope4Peyton and built a loyal and faithful readership.
I launched a second site, the Mayhew Review to serve as a place for product reviews, giveaways and contests, but retired that site. The Mayhew Review had resounding success, I’ve worked with some wonderful companies (including HP, One2OneNetworks, BlogHer, TNT Network, Disney, Sony Music and Norton Family Online) and enjoy the opportunity to share products and services with my readers in my own honest method.
I successfully launched a collaborative site Aiming Low, a group blog geared to people who consider slacking not just a way of life, but an art form. Aiming Low was a winner of 2010 Bloggie for Best New Weblog and a finalist for 2010 BlogLuxe Award in Guilty Pleasure.
Beyond my readership, I have worked at creating a wide and varied social network footprint, with active participation on sites such as Facebook and Twitter.
- Twitter - 6500+ followers
- Facebook – 1600+ friends
- RSS feed – 550+
I am also a contributing writer/editor for such prominent group blogs
- Blog Nosh Magazine (Finalists for 2 2008 Weblog Awards)
I have been interviewed by the Tampa Tribune for an article that ran on the front page of the Sunday 12/14/08 edition, regarding moms and their increased use of technology to stay “plugged in”.
I was a guest on the Oprah Winfrey show, speaking out on overwhelmed moms.
I was a guest on the Today Show, talking about how we choose to discipline our children.
I was part of a team of bloggers that were interviewed by Katie Couric for the CBS Nightly News series on Children of the Recession.
And you can Google my name to read the many posts written by my special friends when I had my strokes. There are too many for me to post here, but each one is individual and lovely.

Review Policy
If you are interested in having me review a product for your company, there are a few guidelines I keep:
- Decisions to post are based on the quality and relevance of your product, the review of some products may not be posted because they simply do not fit with my readers or work for my family.
- I am dedicated to fun and family-friendly product reviews, keep it clean and relevant.
- I do require a sample for all reviews. The sample will not be returned, a review is not guaranteed, and you will be responsible for any shipping costs involved. I WILL not post your press release, so save us both some time on that one.
- I would prefer not to do high dollar reviews for items that must be returned, but please email me so that it can be decided on an individual basis.
- I am incredibly truthful in the reviews I post, and while I would never deliberately speak badly of a product, I do sometimes critique products just as I praise others. This offers balance and honesty in my reviews. If I feel that a product has not brought a satisfactory result, I will contact you before publishing my review.
If you’d like to contact me about a review of your product, you can contact me at Anissa.Mayhew(at)gmail.com or by DM on www.Twitter.com/AnissaMayhew
Sponsorship Opportunities
Have you considered the power of having your brand and product promoted at the top blogging events? At these events, your company can be brought directly to the most receptive audience.
I’ve had the opportunity to build a relationship as Brand Ambassador for companies including, but not limited to: Hewlett-Packard, Sorrelli Jewelry, Lane Bryant, Ford and Yummie Tummie, GM, Hallmark, Chevy, GAP, and more.
I do not charge for representing your company and helping you reach your target market, only fully covered event sponsorship.
Currently I am seeking sponsorship for Blissdom Canada, and Mom 2.0 Summit.
